Intersectional Motherhood

Intersectional Motherhood builds upon the work of Kimberle Crenshaw who coined the term “intersectionality” in the 1980’s in response to mainstream feminism’s gap in representation. An intersectional approach to motherhood would allow for a more inclusive approach to parenting future generations and begins with the simple inquiry: who do we refer to when we speak of saving our children?
